In “The Fellowship of the Ring”, a hobbit named Frodo Baggins sets out from his hometown of The Shire to destroy a powerful magical ring which could potentially bring about catastrophic destruction. To do so, he must enlist the help of a fellowship of nine members including him: Aragorn, a great human warrior; Gandalf the wizard; Legolas, an elf; Boromir, a human; Samwise Gamgee and his loyal friend Peregrin “Pippin” Took, both hobbits; and Gimli, a dwarf.
The group journeys to the heart of the enemy-filled Mordor, facing countless dangerous obstacles placed in order to have their mission fail.
